What is Fruit

About us

We love creating great web sites. We’re a small, flexible and active web agency and through our passion for the web we craft simple and functional websites. We’re committed and enthusiastic about every project we take on and we thrive on creating fully rounded web sites that not just look good but work great.

Our process

We build websites using a tried and tested process, which involves working closely with our clients, and breaking down each project into stages. By completely focusing on each stage we ensure we cover all requirements. The goal is to make sure that all needs are met before progressing to the next which helps each project go as smoothly as possible.

  • Analysis

Initial analysis, with all involved, of requirements for site. A full definition of the site structure, features and navigation will be provided.

  • Wireframes

Wireframes are created to demonstrate the layout of the individual page templates. This stage focuses not only on how the overall pages will be structured but also on their useability and functionality.

  • UI and Screen Design

Site page designs will be created (usually based around the home page) and this is used to develop the overall look and feel of the site. All other pages are then designed and final designs are chosen. These are tweaked following feedback from the Initial concept.

  • Development

HTML & CSS (code used to build websites) templates based upon the agreed designs are created and tested in all major browsers and devices. The Content Management System is built to the specific needs of the project and integrated into the templates and the content is added to the site.

  • Content

Content, including text, videos, downloads, images are added to the site.

  • Testing

The site is delivered for testing. Any changes are made. The system will also be deployed to the live server (though not for public access) at this point and the system will be tested from here.
